Lovestruck is one of the few totally free sites out there that is worth looking at. They are based in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. There is a separate site for each area because they use this as their main selection criteria. Meet people where you work!

So for example on LoveStruckManchester, you can then select someone who works near, the art gallery or Piccadilly Gardens or Salford Quays. It is also possible to search based on other keywords.

Lovestruck has a fun feel to it and they are targeting people who live in big cities. However, unless you live and work in one of the cities mentioned above, this site will be a little limiting.

The site is almost a dating version of facebook. They have tried to create a virtual flirting playground, where you can wink at other daters, send messages and create a status saying, ‘free for lunch’.
